I’m so pleased to be back to the blogs I so much enjoy and now on facebook and twitteron a daily basis! As promised, here’s the second part of my Rally Holidays in March. As I said here, the pics are small, but it’s to keep track of where I’ve been, not about fashion. More about history and architecture
Last Monday I ended with some pictures in Gdansk, Poland. Let’s start from there again
Rainy and windy Gdansk, March 16, 2014. River Vistula and ship musem Soldek. Packing a suitcase to be presentable… you need to change accessories. Scarf by Codello, bought in Zurich, umbrella Marc Jacobs
The marvellous architecture of Gdansk!
That satchel by Miss Lulu, so handy! I didn’t like the flowers so much this time, so I added some felt hearts, with felt “buttons” inside. Sorry for “blurred me”, it’s just to give an idea
After that, I went to Kaliningrad, really interesting!
I love this picture! I just wanted the Russian words in the photo and myself – when I saw it, it looks like the model is kissing the woman walking there! So funny!
Hello again, sweet blogger friends! I didn’t post for a month, because I had a veryhectic time – the long promised travel pictures to be shown now! I wanted a blog’s layout change, still evolving – new layout, new content! The blog is my personal diary, of course – the pics seem small, but it’s to keep track of where I went, not a fashion statement. Preparing a compact suitcase for such a trip is tricky.
Title of the post: I tried to be funny with where I was, with the three cities ending in LIN
I love my “Rally Holidays“, as I call them. 4,000 km with a car around Europe for twoweeks. I needed to officially register my Masters’ diploms and signature in Germany, so I flew from Dublin to Frankfurt, where I got the car. Nice revisiting places I once lived in. Some countries were new to me, some not.
Frankfurt am Main, Mar 10, 2014. I have similar suitcases in my main flat, so I loved this wall
Leibniz Universität Hannover, where I took the Masters. Tunic, sweater, shoes here and here. I just wore them together this time
In Hamburg, and my “faithful” Longchamp bag always with me. So practical! The Church of St Michael’s in the background
I got some amulet earrings from Asos that…
… I changed into a necklace pendant. I liked the result!
I love this monument – Siegessäule – in Berlin. And I got it with a plane crossing the sky!
And there I am!
Here my makeup and necklace for the second day in Berlin
A warm black blouse, a hippie tunic, a vest, a pair of black jeans in Berlin
Another day in Berlin with coral ballerinas
Next ride – Poland. So many beautiful places! Koszalin, Gdansk, Warsaw, Rzeszów
Koszalin, Poland. Such a sweet city!
Koszalin. So friendly people! And delicious food! The sneaker pon pon boots were great
Practical satchel. I re-designed it, putting felt hearts there
Gdansk, Crane Gate. Windy! I later donated the coat in Bratislava. Loafers, Asos
Gdansk is the world capital ofamber, so I bought some pieces there
As I have already posted 15 pics – half of the March trip – the other half follows nextweek! Very interesting and beautiful places! A post with my purchases comes next and then I can go on with my trips in April – Greece, lovely! – and May – Belfast and Antrim Coast. June? I’ll go to the World Cup!
Thank you for visiting the blog and your comments, hope you liked the new layout!
Hope you are all well! I missed the blogs I love! May your week be full of smiles!
* Last “reminder” – after years without using facebook and twitter much, I’m now very active there I post different pictures there. Would you like to check the pages out and follow me? I promise to follow back!
Finally back to the blogosphere and the amazing blogs I love! I had a month of a busy fun time – no internet at all 😮 Still editing the 1790 pictures taken during the “Rally Holidays” and next week I’ll show where I went. Now, I still had some pics from a month ago around Dublin. Some years ago I was in Dublin twice, but since I’ve moved to the city I’m rediscovering it – cool!
Bushy Park outside the flat, March 8th. Top, Zara. Jeans, Next. Cardi, Moschino. Perspex clutch with the handle of another purse – inside I put a Coach pouch.
Mother of pearl bracelet, gifted. Headband, Balmain
Pearl necklace and pendant by my friend Julie. Beaded necklace, from Kenya, juzionline
A Victorian silver cameo ring that Julie fixed for me. The mother of pearl ring she gifted me. The silver and mother of pearl bracelet was also gifted.
Mid heel shoes, Asos. Sweet and comfy!
You’ll see me many times with this G21 tunic… Turquoise buckle belt – I love it!
It was nearly closed when I arrived at this government building. Next week then!
