Berlin, Koszalin, Dublin

Hello again, sweet blogger friends! I didn’t post for a month, because I had a very hectic time – the long promised travel pictures to be shown now! I wanted a blog’s layout change, still evolving – new layout, new content! The blog is my personal diary, of course – the pics seem small, but it’s to keep track of where I went, not a fashion statement. Preparing a compact suitcase for such a trip is tricky.

First trip, March. Germany, Poland, Russia, Lithuania, Slovakia, Hungary, Czech Republic.

Title of the post: I tried to be funny with where I was, with the three cities ending in LIN :)

I love my “Rally Holidays“, as I call them. 4,000 km with a car around Europe for two weeks. I needed to officially register my Masters’ diploms and signature in Germany, so I flew from Dublin to Frankfurt, where I got the car. Nice revisiting places I once lived in. Some countries were new to me, some not.

Frankfurt am Main. I have similar suitcases in the entrance of my main flat, so I loved this wall in Frankfurt am Main - Mar 11, 2014

Birthday weekend

Thanks so much for the amazing birthday wishes!

They really made my day even brighter!

My birthday lasts around a week :) People start greeting me some days before it and end around the first week of February – I find it so cool! But in fact it was last Friday :)

To keep the “tradition” on Jan 30th I was on birthday mood, and wore this:

Nice MIssoni dress, vest - my design

Nice Missoni dress, knitting detail; vest – my design

“Tradition” means new clothes and shoes on my birthday and new year’s eve :)

Ankle boots, Sophia Webster

I got lots of gifts, calls, texts, emails… talked to my family and it completed my day…  more than presents, the love of so nice friends is what makes the day a real treasure.

Thank you so much for your sweet comments! I really love them!

Have a great day, full of sincere smiles!

End and beginning of the year pix

A very happy week to everybody and many thanks for the compliments for the way I present my dishes! I had no idea they’d be so appreciated. As a vegetarian since childhood – not approved by my brothers :) – I do have many recipesI may post some.

On my previous post I wrote that I had some wishes for the year – not resolutions. Resolutions are strong – I end up not accomplishing them. So I said wishes TO EVERYBODY – more fun, more smiles, etc. By fun I posted a “shopping” picture – I was with a dear friend, that’s what I meant. More fun with friends, too.

Now to the Christmas and new year’s pictures – still time to do so, January!

I seldom post about celebrity style, but really, Issa London dresses are so nice (in my opinion). But alas, she has a model figure, everything looks good then. But even on me, I thought the dress was brilliant.

As for the lack of art or DIY now, I end with one of my paintings (2005) to keep me motivated to draw more or create more art – if I can call it so.

Yes, people change, I know I was much thinner - but the same hair always!
