Second Thoughts

Second Thoughts… about what life can be like if we decide to be ourselves!
Yellow Rose

Friday Feelings

Maybe…you shouldn’t hate the people who are jealous of you, but instead respect their jealousy – after all, they are the ones who think that you are better than them.

Maybe…the brightest future will always be based on a forgotten past. After all, you can’t go on successfully in life until you let go of your past mistakes, failures and heartaches.

Maybe…it’s not where you are in life, but who you have by your side that really counts.

Maybe…you shouldn’t go for looks; they can deceive. Don’t go for wealth, even that fades away. Go for someone who makes you smile, because all it takes is a smile to light up the darkest day.

Maybe…you shouldn’t let what you can’t do interfere with what you can.
Bouquet
Maybe…when life is good, we should say thank you and appreciate it. And when life is grim, we should say thank you and learn from it.

Maybe…everything is beautiful, but being beautiful isn’t everything.

Maybe…you shouldn’t change your looks or lifestyle to please someone else, because if they truly love you, they will accept you just the way you are.

Maybe…being happy doesn’t mean that everything has to be perfect. It just means that you have decided to look beyond the imperfections.

  1. Bellissime parole cara Denise!

  3. Beautiful post, Denise. Honey I tried to post a comment at the newer post, but there ain’t no such thing as the leave a reply box, so I have to comment in here. I know it would be for a good cause but please don’t cut your beautiful hair, honey. Please don’t, I beg you.

    • Thank you so much, dear Lenya, for such a beautiful comment! Well, don’t worry :) The idea of cutting is not ripe… so the hair will stay long at least for one more year… :) I know it long, people like it, but hair grows… and I sooo would like to help people with cancer… but as I said, I am still not that “ripe” to have it cut now :) So you will see me with it for a long time still :) Thank you again for your lovely comment, it did mean a lot to me, you can believe! I am flattered! Hugs, dear Lenya!

  4. what a beautiful and inspiring post, Denise! I love the photos and the thoughts. they’re so true but often so hard to follow. especially the last one. I know I should follow it but often it’s so difficult because human nature is complicated and doesn’t always act the way it should act. anyway, thanks for sharing all the lovely thoughts! and have a great week of course! :)
