How to Find Life Answers

How to Find Life Answers sounded a bit arrogant to me – but I’ve read some questions that can give ourselves some answers… or, at least, I hope so :)

What’s your vision of life, of the future? Should we care about the past and future, or just live “now”, only enjoying the present? Simple questions, not everything we can ask ourselves, but a few questions, because sometimes we don’t know which path to follow and we may be unsure about our personal mission – or Ikigai, here :) Through some questions, we can access what we think of life in general, values, principles and beliefs. But wait – not everybody feels like it’s a demand to ask questions – some people achieved what they wanted for their lives and it’s great! But sometimes a life audit is cool!

If you want to find the answers, you have to ask some questions. Inside yourself, you know the answers. Remember, it’s never too late to change what we don’t consider right to ourselves! We can ask these question many times during our lives. Although there are questions below, to help pondering, always remember to be grateful to who you are and what you have achieved up to now! Questions:

1 – How are you managing your time? What gets most of your attention? Family, house, kids, yourself, personal relationships – husband, partner, friends, work… it tells what is being more important to you right now. And maybe, how to balance how you share your time from now on, if you feel you need to.
2 – Do I enjoy sharing time that way? (According to the above questions’ answers.) And if not, how can I change it? What are my goals right now?
3 – Am I doing anything to achieve my goals? How can I do it? Could I do anything in a different way? Would it be more pleasant? Would moving towards my goals make me happy, or am I just waiting for them to “come from heaven”?
4 – If I don’t like something, what would the consequences be, if I remove that from my life? (It can be work, friendship, moving to another city.)
5 – Would I start doing that “thing” now, if I knew it would be this way? (Again, a course, career, relationship, attitude… anything that is bothering or is important to you.)
6 – What am I most satisfied with, in my life, up to now? And what would I do, whom would I like to talk to or spend time with, if I had one day to live?
7 – Who is or was my major inspiration?
8 – What makes me happy doing, in general and professionally speaking?
9 – Did you have any life altering experiences till now? How did it change you?
10 – How can I feel happier and more fulfilled?

    • Thank you so much for your lovely comment! Actually I read about it some weeks ago and put the thought aside. Then last week thought of re-assessing the topic… so, no, I never asked myself all these questions, maybe some of them once in a while, but I intend to do so now! Hope you have a great week!

  2. Your title doesn’t sound arrogant at all Denise. You always share such great knowledge I really love visiting Denise’s Planet; I always learn something new. Loving the retro hairstyle, very very cute. I tend to check in with myself weekly with questions like these. I have a few different businesses I’m working on. So my attention gets pulled in 1001 different directions, and at the end of the day, I was left feeling unfulfilled and overwhelmed. I’ve taken the time overt the last few weeks to clam myself down, create clear goals and tackle hem head on. There is still room for improvement, but I don’t feel so defeated at the end of the day. Another great post Denise. Have a great week.

  3. First of all, I love Jeannie and her ponytail!
You are my inspiration! Your questions are very useful for me right now.
I like your outfit and I think you are thinner.
Your shoes always steal the show!
    Have a great week!

    • Thank you so much for your lovely comment! I will be travelling from today on, and next week I will get to your blog! In the meantime, again, thank you very much for the sweet comment!

Sei supercarina e sempre dolce, vivace e colorata!
Ti auguro una bellissima settimana, baci!

  5. What a brilliant quote.

That was also an interesting idea of a life audit. I do think we often don’t make the time to ponder such questions and then only realize when it is too late what we should have spent more time doing.

That is the reason I chose to focus this year on visiting friends and family. It is challenging financially and time wise, but the rewards are so great.

Love your embroidered top with the vest. Super cute look! You look very happy.

    bisous

  6. This is such a lovely post, Denise and I think one that all of us could benefit reading from. I feel one of the biggest problem with us is the fact that we usually know the answer to our life, problems, dilemma but we always live in some sort of denials and that’s what cause most of our problems.

  7. You found some really wise questions to share and I thank you for sharing them with us. I think that by asking the correct question, we can already get half of the work done. It is so important to know how to ask the right questions.

Fabulous styling…I don’t see you in pants often…and as much as I’m a fan of dresses and skirts, I have to say that I really like this outfit…it is very elegant…and the vest is a great touch.

  8. Cara Denise,

  9. I think it’s so important to take a step back and look at how you are spending your time! It’s a great question for happiness. I’ve been careful to spend more time relaxing recently and it’s really good for my mental health :)

Besotes!

  11. Hi Denise. Many of these questions that you offered to us are much individual and reserved for many people. For me for exemple, they are total reserved. I don’t like to comment with everybody about that things. However I think that I’m managing mine time satisfactorily. Well, All other issues are very intimate except the seventh. My major inspiration is myself. I hope you have a good week.

    • Hello, Alberto, thank you so much for your nice comment! The questions were not to answer here on my blog, they are much too personal, but only to be displayed here for people to think of them, if they wish. I am glad that you manage your time well, and thank you again for your nice comment!

  12. Hi Denise! I totally agree with you – it’s really hard to find out the life path, which is the correct one to follow. I really like your post – I find those answers as very individual and even though they seem easy, they’re really hard to answer. To be honest, I did answer to similar ones when I had time management’s class and it was hard task to realize what I actually want from life. What’s more, you’re right – we always should be grateful for things, which we already have and don’t take nothing for granted, because life can completely change for a day or so, so we should remember about that. Moreover, I love your outfit, you look so pretty in this embroidered shirt, dear, blue color suits to you. Btw, I adore your velvet shoes – personally I also have velvet boots and they’re unique, so I totally understand why you like yours so much 😀
Thank you for your each comment on my blog, it means a lot to me, Denise!
Have a lovely evening, dear friend :)

  13. Tis very hard to find our life path, I agree! I think I waste a lot of time!
You look very pretty in this. I adore your shirt- so pretty with the embroidery and I definitely love your Jeannie hairstyle!
    I hope you are well.xx

  14. This is such an interesting post Denise and the questions are ones that really need thinking about. I think sometimes we can get stuck in a rut and just go along with things but from time to time it is definitely important to look at our priorities in life and the direction we are going in. I hope you are having a lovely weekend :) x

    • Thank you so much for your lovely words, Hannah! Yes,I didn’t think that way, but now that you mentioned it,yes! It makes sense – not to just go along with the flow, but to establish priorities – thanks for that thought! I’m out of home, I have scheduled a post for Monday, though, and asap I will visit your blog again! Thank you once more for your nice words and I wish you a great weekend! Xxx

  15. I love your outfit, Denise! The vest is so cool with the stripes! Feel free to show as many “casual” outfits as you like! :) What beautiful photos too. And I really liked your questions too. They are all good things to contemplate. My husband and I try to discuss these things often to make sure we’re on the right track. :) Hope all is well!
