How to find Hope

How to find Hope – never lose hope, find ways to believe that change is possible!

Hope is the life force that keeps us going and gives us something to live for. Hope is a crucial part of dealing with life‘s problems and to see solutions. So here let’s see how hope keeps us standing!
Friday Feelings
Hope looks for the good in people instead of harping on the worst.
Hope opens doors where despair closes them.
Hope discovers what can be done instead of grumbling about what cannot.
Hope “lights a candle” instead of “cursing the darkness”.
Hope regards problems, small or large, as opportunities.
Hope cherishes no illusions, nor does it yield to cynicism.
Hope sets big goals and is not frustrated by repeated difficulties or setbacks.
Hope pushes ahead when it would be easy to quit.
Hope puts up with modest gains, realizing that “the longest journey starts with one step.”
Hope…sometimes that’s all you have when you have nothing else,
But if you have it, you have everything!

Wishing you a beautiful weekend with smiles! Thanks for the lovely comments!

  1. I love how you defined hope….and this kind of hope is indeed what we need. True hope doesn’t mean living in clouds, but seeing the life for what it is and facing it nonetheless. Your writing is always inspiring to me. Today there is too much cynisim….there is time and place for everything and sometimes a bit of irony can help us make a point, but we should never let our mind be poisoned by modern cynisim. We need more love and understanding, more profound relationships and friendships in our lives…and to have these things, we need hope, we need to believe that love is a possibility, that it is a reality to be experienced.

  2. Oh, liebe Denise!

  4. This is such a powerful, incredibly important reminder – especially after every last tragedy and heartache that our weary world has endured so far throughout this year.

Hope has guided, shaped and driven my life for as far back as I can remember. Even on my very darkest of days – and there have been some bleak ones for sure – I have consciously refused to let the spark of hope be extinguished and am certain that such is part of the reason why I’m still here, smiling and optimistic, to this day.

    Many hugs,
    ♥ Jessica
