That’s what we all deserve! A Happy Sunny New Year!
It was the end of another year and I have some reflections… about life in general and what happened in 2017. About the people I met – some wonderful, some not (so, some disappointments), an academic project very close to my heart, the wonderful trips, the fun, new friends and more! I did have some bad moments, of course, that hurt me a lot and got to know whom to count on. But I still think that everything happens for a reason. Feelings like anger, sadness, injustice, but also happiness and love are part of this amazing journey that is being alive. We cannot avoid negative feelings, this is not (real) life. To know the feelings of joy and happiness, we need to know what sadness is – so we are able to compare and recognize the difference. Every life is full of emotions and stories and it seems that all is intertwined. But despite the sad moments, it was a great year for me! I hope it was for you, too!
I feel really grateful to so many things in my life and to all the amazing blogger friends who visit(ed) my blog! Thank you for your support! It is so great to have your company, comments, support and thoughts! This is the beauty of blogging – the interaction we have, knowing that when we need we can count on each other!
I normally answer a questionnaire by the end of the year, but as I have a heavy loaded pictures’ post with the place I am in, Olinda (a paradise! The best place, for me, during the trip), I will leave the questionnaire to next Monday Two more weeks and I have to end this nice adventure! I hope you like it! Olinda has many traditions; one is Carnival, when the small city receives 2 million tourists. There will be a big party tonight! I’m ready to buy a house and stay here But it costs 900k pounds! How did you celebrate the beginning of the year?
Wishing a nice nice week with many smiles! Thank you so much for your lovely comments!
