Fun Friday #14

Fun Friday #14 – I managed my time well this week, so I can post some finds again :)

Wonderful landscape!

Wonderful landscape!

I hope everybody is having a nice week! How was it for you? Here, some finds I think are cool and a surprising video (really) at the end of the post! Hope you like all!

Fun Friday

Uh… I don’t know what to think of this lipstick-rule

Photoshop experiment – same girl, 27 definitions of “beautiful” in different countries!

I want this house!!! Casa Brutale!

Friday Finds

How cute is this? I am eager to get one!

A really  beautiful blanket for the cold days, soon approaching…

How cool are these bedrooms? (Not for minimalistic people!)

Genius street American artist Tom Bob is in the streets of New York doing wonders!

I always talk about the nonsense of being a racist and unfortunately I know a bunch of them. When I can, I distance myself from them. Here is another example of what it is to be intolerant. Ariana Miyamoto has become the first bi-racial woman to be crowned Miss Japan. Should a mixed race girl be eligible to win the competition? is what some people are asking. Not such a new video, but interesting, in my opinion.

Wishing you a sweet weekend with smilesThanks for the nice visit!

    • Dear Shireen, I agree with you, I found that so-called rule ridiculous! I like to wear shades of fuchsia, for example :) Thank you so much for your comment, so nice! Hope you have a lovely weekend!

  2. Hi my friend! So happy to be here on Fun Fridays, you always share such interesting finds. Wow that lipstick rule is interesting but I have seen women pull of brown very well. I never wear lipstick so I have no idea what looks good on me. Let both live in Casa Brutae. It looks super peaceful. I love these Bohemian Decors! I don’t need to be a minimalist, I get why it’s a popular trend but I’ll stick with the artsy decor. OMG should a mixed race won be eligible to win Miss Japan. That question made me sick. She a human being, I know you understand but this is just appalling. Stay strong my friend :) Have a great weekend.

  3. Interesting post!
To answer your question: yes, I do believe that people of mixed races should be allowed to join beauty competitions. Beauty knows no boundaries!
I loves the NYC street art! <3
That lipstick rule sounds ridiculous! 😀 Is that a piece of fake news, it must be…
Thank you for stopping by my blog, and leaving me such nice comments!

    • Thank you so much for your lovely comment! But I just want to say that it was not my question, it was what some people asked and some didn’t accept. I agree with you – I do think diversity enriches our lives! Again thanks for the sweet comment and I wish you a nice weekend! Xxx

  4. Hello sweet Denise, well that lipstick rule……well there’s only one rule I follow, that’s my own, hahaha. it’s ridiculous, lol, nothing more to say about it. Well the bedrooms, yes you are totally right they are certainly not for a minimalist like I. Denise that project is turning into something totally different of what I thought it might be, lol. It seems we are concentration now on the kids instead of teenagers, well I need to explain the whole thing some of these days to you, but right now, I just don’t have much time. But it is so much fun, Denise, I am hooked with it, really I am. Hope you are feeling less low now. Thinking of you a lot, sweet Denise. Sending much love and good thoughts your way. God bless you, dear girl.

    • Dear Lenya, thank you sooo much for your lovely comment! I am also thinking of you, since I visit your blog and I wait for a post – then I think you might be doing something for the kids, like I see you are (and that’s so good) or I hope you are fine (not losing weight, you know). I confess I am not minimalistic, like my partner. Oh, I didn’t know why I felt low and when, but I am ok now and you are so sweet, thank you for being so lovely, It really touched me! I hope you have a nice week, and I am so glad to have known you! Hugs!
