Friday Feelings

Sometimes it’s good to be reminded of what really matters… the key is to respect each other’s opinions!

Friday Feelings
Do more than think of someone: help!
Do more than listen to someone: participate!
Do more than believe: practice

Do more than be fair: be kind!
Do more than forgive: forget!
Do more than dream: work!

Do more than teach: inspire!

Do more than earn: enrich!

Do more than suffer: triumph!
Do more than give: serve!

Do more than express: empower!
Do more than live: grow!
Do more than tolerate: respect!
Do more than admire: lift spirits up!

  1. Heloooo Denise! I’m back, almost fully. I will be next week when the kids go back to school. I love this post! Friday Feelings for each and every day. I’d love to say that I do all of these things; I’d love to say that I do most of them. In all honesty I don’t but they are ALL something to strive for, and I certainly do do some of them. A great list to keep by your side and remember – where do you find these things from? :). I hope all is well my lovely Denise. Hugs and kisses xx

    • Dear Tracey, so good that you are almost fully back! I visited your blog this week and I realised you were on holidays and that is good! I also would love to say that I do all the things that are listed on the post, but no, I am, just human :) But I do some of the things, and other I try, and others I try even harder – then I need to follow Buddha :) At least it’s important to think of these things. I am constantly reading, I am an avid reader and learner and I have friends who share the same thoughts. Some of the thoughts I got from a friend and some of them I wrote by myself. So a mix now, but some Fridays I write things alone, if or when I am inspired :) I hope you have a very nice weekend and I thank you so much for your sweet comment! You are ace! XXX

  2. wonderful inspiration sweetie…you gave me some food for the thought.

I’m glad to hear you’re enjoying your stay in South America. I heard that people are there are really warm and loving. I have some relatives in South America, but sadly I lost touch with them. A lot of Croatians immigrated to South America during one difficult period. There was a terrible wine disease in the last century and because many Croatian families lived from wine ( we have a long wine tradition), many of them were forced to go search for their home elsewhere. Something similar to potato faminine in Ireland, but in our case it was the grapes that sustained us. I remember you said you had family in Spain…Do you have any family members in South America as well?

    • Oh, sad that they had to leave… I mean, not specifically part of your family, maybe too, maybe not, but as a population, I mean. Now that you mentioned that, I am fascinated by the stories that I have heard and the surnames as well, and yes, I have heard many Croatians surnames during my stay. My family comes part from Spain, France and Italy and even Azores; there are some in the US, in Uruguay, some in England and other parts, so, it’s good to be well received :) Thank you so much for your lovely comment, I am so glad to learn things and you taught me a lot through books and now stories! Please keep doing so! Hope you have a lovely weekend!
