Brides of York

Tuesday – Time to write my travel diary…  I do that as a way to remember where I was, when and what I was doing. I may read the entries again to remember things… It’s a diary, after all!

Last weekend I went to so many places! Just like when I went to Canterbury last month and I passed through the famous Silverstone, this time I passed through so many sweet cities! The first was Nottingham – really sweet! Then I met my friend M. in Doncaster – she’ll get married in 6 months in Greece. I got her beautiful wedding invitation, she showed me the new house and we went to Huddersfield – I already knew it, she used to live there. We visited some other friends and the next day we went with J., also a nice girl, to York, to choose M.’s bride’s gown.

What a great city!!! I saw the beautiful cathedral and many other great places. And what about the gowns she tried! Very very beautiful!

Amazing York, March 16th, 2013 - scarf and one of the bracelets were a birthday gift that the sweet M. sent me from Greece!

We went to three shops - not the first time choose gowns with friends! The dresses were fantastic!

This was the third shop, really beautiful!

This is my Shoeper Shoe Challenge # 4, Peacock's boots. They were cheap, but that doesn't mean sweet and comfortable! We walked a lot that day...

This time all the pictures of myself were taken by M. and J.!
The Hat Company - so great! We tried many hats on!

We started our day in York on Saturday very early, so we had breakfast, lunch (by the river, beautiful!) and dinner there. In the evening she took me to a birthday party in a disco in Leeds. On Sunday I left really early and saw Leicester (very nice!) and Worcester (it has a beautiful cathedral).  I even could see the St. Patrick’s Day celebrations in Birmingham and then I came back to Bewdley. I must say I’m tired, but saw so many beautiful things!

York has amazing vintage shops and in Leicester I saw the King Richards Road (sic) and other churches. I met many “old”  friends and M. invited me to know another nice city on Apr 14th. I said I’d think about it – she’s lovely!

Now I hope you all have a great day with beautiful smiles! Up to the next adventure – it’ll come soon… that’s the way I am!
