A New Challenge Wisdom!

Yesterday it started again – the Shoeper Shoe Challenge by shoeperwoman! So that’s why the Words of Wisdom will be published today!

To start the challenge I chose shoes so close to my heart – they have hearts on them!

Shoe save #1 - Marc Jacobs. Head band - Liberty London. Top from Bewdley, jeans from germany (don't remember the shop). Jacket and bag gifted.

My “old” blog talked about fashion, among some other things. Shoes and bags galore. This new one was meant to be a mix of “everything”. But with the shoe challenge I’ll somehow show some fashion again :)

I have now 407 pairs of shoesI’ll donate some next week.

Not only “ordinary shoes”, but good shoes. By good I mean your choice, whatever makes you happy is good! And good friends? A blessing!

The challenge is brilliant! It helped me through a difficult year (2011) and will go on serving as a means of wearing what one has – sometimes we just keep things and we don’t wear them. I’ve worn hundreds of pairs during the previous challenge. I intend to wear all my shoes now, or else I’ll donate many pairs.

I hope you all have an amazing weekend with amazing smiles!

P.S. – I’m sorry and ashamed because I didn’t leave comments this week – really hectic preparing a new trip. But I’ll visit you from Monday on!

  1. Don’t worry about anything! Take your time to prepare for your trip and come to our blogs whenever you can. You know that! :)
You look amazing, and I love your shoes! Congrats on starting the challenge again! I’m sure you’ll manage to save your remaining shoes! But so sweet of you to donate some of them.

  2. Shoe challenge??? Wow!! Te deseo suerte!! De todas maneras con todos los zapatos que tienes tendrías que ponerte algunas veces dos pares en un día para que pudieras usarlos todos en un año.
Son hermosos los que pusiste hoy!!

  3. Stopping by to wish you a great and inspired week ahead. Adore these pretty shoes, they are my type of footwear, so chic. You look lovely as always. So sorry to hear you are not doing well, is everything okay? So worried! I am grateful for your insight on my last post :)

  4. I think donating the pairs you don’t wear is a very good idea. you will definitely buy new pairs in the future and it would be pretty pointless if for example 300 pairs just sit in your closet and don’t see the daylight at all. at least I think so and I will also go through my own shoes to remove the ones I don’t wear. it’s also good to make someone else happy by giving away some of your goodies. anyway, those Marc Jacobs shoes indeed are SO pretty! and wow, another trip!? you’re one lucky lady with all those trips!

  5. I think the idea of donating the pairs of shoes that you don’t use is a very good gesture, because they’ll be put to use by those who need it more than we do. We tend to live in excess, and being conscious of those around us makes the world a better place to live in.

Hope you had a great weekend, Denise!
